What is LEAP?

Life Enrichment and Appreciation Programme (LEAP) is an integrated learning programme. It aims at nurturing students to be global citizens by broadening their scope and enhancing all round development from different learning experiences.

The completion of the Life Enrichment and Appreciation Programme (LEAP) is one of the graduation requirements for our Associate Degree students. The whole Programme comprises seminars and college recognized activities.Students must obtain 20 LEAP units (roughly equivalent to 10 seminars)in their two years of studies.


LEAP Requirements for Associate Degree (AD) Students

AD students must fulfill the requirements of the LEAP programme in order to graduate.

For AD students admitted in 2015-16 or 2016-17:

For students who have completed the Exchange Programme, 5 LEAP units will be awarded towards the category of Seminars and College recognized activities.

Students are normally required to attend 75% (after excluding all absences withmedical certificates or other proofs of absence) of PE lessons in order to fulfill the requirement and obtain a pass in the PE course. They can only choose one kind of sport from a variety of PE courses, for example badminton, tennis, basketball etc. A pass or fail grade will be shown on the transcript.
